13.06 Bovino: Saint Antonio from Padova.

13.06 Vieste: Saint Antonio from Padova. Local people usually celebrate this festival with 13 prayer days and in the 13th (June the 13th) there is procession of Saint Antonio statue, fireworks in the night and they give the blessed bread. So far summertime starts.

14-15-16-17.06 Sannicandro Garganico: three days of religious festivals for Saint Nicandro, Saint Marciano and Saint Daria. After religious ceremonies, there are musical shows, theatre and fireworks. Typically fair of “musciska”; it’s a old dish made by shepherds. Goat meat boiled and marinated in vinegar or wine and aromatic herbs and roasted, also dried and smoked.
